1. Hydration

Drinking plenty of water throughout the day is not only good for your health in general, but it is good for the health of your skin. When you drink enough water, you keep your skin hydrated. Your skin appears plump and glowing. Hydrated skin also can help you to appear younger. When your skin is dehydrated you increase the appearance of wrinkles and sunken-in areas.

2. Moisturize

We all know moisturizing is important, but sometimes we don’t know exactly HOW to moisturize to achieve our desired results. Use a moisturizing cleanser when you clean your face and/or body in the shower or at night time – then apply a moisturizing cream to your face and/or body. The combination of these two will leave even the driest of skin feeling soft and supple. Another point to remember, is to not apply too much moisturizing cream. Most times a dime sized amount is enough for your entire face. When you apply too much moisturizer, your skin cannot soak it up and it just sits on top of your skin. This extra moisturizer is a waste and will get in the way of applying makeup or clothing.

3. Use Conditioner to Shave

Most people go through their shampoo bottle much faster than the conditioner bottle. Why? Well you typically just condition the bottom half of your hair, and you shampoo your entire head. What can you do with that extra conditioner? Use it to shave! Conditioner softens the hair on your legs, and makes it easer to remove the hair than regular soap.

4. Pepto-Bismol as a Face Mask

Spread 2 teaspoons of Pepto-Bismol all over your face and let dry for 15-30 minutes. Once the mask has dried, just rinse it off. The Pepto-Bismol will sooth your facial skin just as well as it can sooth your achy stomach.
